Dr. Kerry Dixon has served for over 25 years in every aspect of education ranging from a public school principal and director to high school teacher, as well as in higher education as a university professor and supervisor.

She previously supervised and guided numerous teacher candidates in the School of Education at the University of Missouri—Kansas City and as an instructor of non-traditional students at National American University. Dr. Dixon brings expertise in the areas of professional development, teacher leadership, and educational administration.

Dr. Dixon's mission is to prepare teachers for success in the classroom and beyond in the ever-changing, yet "back-to-basics," field of education and mentor educational leadership so that we may continue to develop excellence in education. She is dedicated to guiding teacher candidates so that they, too, will be their personal best and remain lifelong learners, always growing and enjoying their chosen career as an educator.
