Position is for Fall 2014/2015

Position Summary:

Demonstrated ability to teach a 3 credit hour Survey of Art History I course (Birth of Art – Medieval, also to include India, China, and Japan) in the fall semester of 2014.  Gardner’s Art Through the Ages text is used.  Adjunct teaching schedule will be confined to two one hour and twenty minute sessions per week.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to relate to both art majors and general education students. Ability to work with a diverse community of faculty, staff and students housed in a university setting. Experience or commitment to the use of technology in learning & university teaching.

Minimum Qualifications:

M.A. in Art History or M.F.A. from a regionally accredited institution.  University-level Art History teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications: 

M.A. in Art History.  University-level Art History teaching experience beyond Graduate Assistantship.
