Fine Arts Degree Program
Position is for Fall 2014/2015
Demonstrated pedagogical interest in working with an enrollment of approximately 16 entry-level students in introductory drawing. Availability to teach three two-hour long classes in fall semester of 2014 with online "office hours” or other accessibility outside class.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Capacity to teach introductory drawing course for art majors and non-art majors, including observational drawing, awareness of history, practice, techniques, materials and tools of drawing. Ability to work with a diverse community of faculty, staff and students housed in a university setting.
M.F.A. from regionally accredited institution with 2-D focus. University-level teaching experience. Evidence of ongoing studio productivity.
M.F.A. in drawing or painting. University-level teaching experience past Graduate Assistantship.
