The University of Saint Mary Master of Business Administration program invites qualified candidates to apply for adjunct teaching positions in production and operations management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to effectively teach in a close, collegial environment dedicated to the teaching-learning relationship.
MBA or related degree
Substantial professional experience in field of instruction.
Practical experience in effectively managing the production and/or operations components of a firm.
Experience with the planning, coordination, and executing of activities that lead to the creation and distribution of goods or services by the firm.
Experience with concepts from other fields including cost dynamics, task analyses, various quantitative methods and industrial engineering.
Knowledge of capacity planning, task and work flow analysis, manpower management, quality, scheduling, production planning and control, inventory management and customer service and/or assurance.
Ability to teach the concept of trade off analysis and its links to manufacturing/operations strategy and to corporate strategy.
