General Description:


The University of Saint Mary, Overland Park, KS Campus, has adjunct teaching opportunities available for several of our upcoming Master’s level courses. 

1.)           Psychopharmacology is designed to assist a therapist in understanding what various drugs do and what the psychiatrist who prescribed them is hoping to accomplish.  It also provides information about the possible side-effects. 

2.)           Group Process addresses theories of group process.  Group types, leadership styles and strategies, stages of group development, member behavior and other factors related to group functioning are explored. The course is didactic and experimental in nature.  Ethical issues specific to group process are also reviewed.
 


Qualifications:


Doctorate and experience in related field preferred.

 

Class Schedules:


Position start date is May 13, 2013 through July 5, 2013. 

Psychopharmacology will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and Wednesdays. 

Group Process will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.
