General Description:
The University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kan., is a Roman Catholic, liberal arts university.  The Natural Sciences and Mathematics Department is a close, collegial faculty dedicated to the teaching-learning relationship.  Candidates should be attracted to this type of environment.  The Natural Sciences and Mathematics Department offers undergraduate degrees in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics and supports various healthcare programs. The position is in the Biology Program, and involves teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology.  The candidate will also teach additional core Biology courses depending on his or her expertise and departmental needs.
Doctorate in Biological Sciences.

Rank and Salary:
The appointment will be at the assistant professor level on the tenure-track. Salary will be based on an annual nine-month appointment commensurate with experience and qualifications.
