Annual Senior Recital Showcases 3 USM Students

3 p.m. Sunday, March 3 | Mead Hall Walnut Room

(Leavenworth, Kan.)—The University of Saint Mary department of fine arts-music will present three senior theatre majors in a combined senior recital at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 3, in the Mead Hall Walnut Room on USM’s Leavenworth campus, 4100 South 4th Street.

The recital is free and open to the public.

The student performers—Alyssa Dunning, of Kansas City, Mo., Briana Janas, of Leavenworth, Kan., and Emily Nold, of Overland Park, Kan.—will sing a varied program of songs and arias in English, German, French, Italian, and Hebrew. The program will also include excerpts from several Broadway musicals, including Guys and DollsPorgy and Bess, and Les Miserables.

The students will be accompanied by Freda Proctor, USM assistant professor of music and director of instrumental musical studies, and Dr. William Krusemark, chair of USM’s department of fine arts.
