Saint Mary McGilley Endowed Chair Presents a Concert with the Goldenberg Duo

(Leavenworth, Kan.)—The The University of Saint Mary presents the brother and sister duo of violinist Susan Goldenberg and pianist William Goldenberg at 12:10 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7 in the Mead Hall Walnut Room on USM’s Leavenworth campus, 4100 South 4th Street.
 
This performance is free and open to the public—and sponsored by the Sister Mary Janet McGilley Endowed Chair in Liberal Studies (McGilley Chair). Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
 
Susan Goldenberg has been a member of the first violin section of the Kansas City Symphony for 36 years, while William Goldenberg is a distinguished professor and chair of piano at Northern Illinois University. The Goldenberg Duo has performed thousands of concerts around the world—most recently in Iberia, Italy, and France this summer.
 
The duo’s program at Saint Mary will include works by Schubert, Bridge, Debussy, and Gershwin.
