USM Music Students Display Their Musical Chops at Spring Recital

(Leavenworth, Kan.)—Nearly 20 students from the University of Saint Mary department of fine arts-music will perform at the university’s annual Spring Student Recital at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, in the Mead Hall Walnut Room on USM’s main campus in Leavenworth at 4100 South 4th Street.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The evening’s program will include selections by Bach, Handel, Grieg, Debussy, Schumann, and Puccini, as well as excerpts from the musical theatre repertoire. USM students will perform solo and ensemble selections in voice, piano, flute, and strings.

Local student performers include Anthony Clouse, Amanda Jacobs, Katie Peterson, and Taylor Welch, of Leavenworth, Kan.; Sarah DaMetz, of Lansing, Kan.; and Kristin Mance and Hayley Webb, of Basehor, Kan.
