Andy Jewett is USM's senior admissions counselor. He's a Merriam, Kan., native who completed his high school studies independently at home. He earned his MBA from Saint Mary in 2010.
Andy said his favorite part of the job is talking to prospective students.
"At USM, you're learning from experts in their respective fields," Andy says. "Your classes are never taught by TAs."

Kitti O'Donnell hails from Leavenworth, Kan. — home of the University of Saint Mary.
Kitti says her favorite part of the job is working with the students, and getting to meet a diverse group of applicants.
"For students, the best part of USM is the small class sizes," she says. "You get a lot of personal attention here."
Territory: Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Colorado
Admissions Tips: "Start early. Too many people wait until the last minute."
Justin Young joined the Saint Mary admissions team before the start of the 2012-2013 academic year. He grew up a military kid, living in multiple places around the country including a stint in Leavenworth, Kan. He and his wife now live in Lansing, Kan.
Justin likes helping prospective students get started on achieving their educational goals.
"You should definitely speak with an admissions counselor early," Justin says. "They can help you gauge what you want to do."
Territory: Missouri, Oklahoma, and all other states
Admissions Tips: "Stay true to who you are and find a school that fits you. You'll have a better college experience!"
Kristen became a member of the Admissions staff during the summer of 2012. She is originally from Spring, Hill, Kan. No stranger to Saint Mary, Kristen earned her Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management (2010) and her Master's Degree in Education (2012) from Saint Mary.
She loves meeting new people and helping students decide which degree will help them achieve their goals.
