University Expenses
The University of Saint Mary is a private institution. The tuition a student pays covers approximately sixty-eight percent of the cost of a University of Saint Mary education. Private gifts meet the difference between the actual cost and the tuition charges. Parents who are able to contribute to the university's educational mission are encouraged to do so by participating in the annual giving program.
Initial Charges and Payment Schedule
Undergraduate: A non-refundable application fee of $25 is required for all new applicants for admission. An advance non-refundable tuition deposit of $100 is required of all full-time students offered admission and is credited to the first semester's tuition upon enrollment. Resident students also pay a non-refundable $100 room reservation deposit which is credited to the first semester's tuition upon enrollment.
Graduate: A non-refundable application fee of $25 is required for all new applicants for admission.
Doctorate: A non-refundable application fee of $35 is required for all new applicants for admission. An advance non-refundable tuition deposit of $200 is required of all students offered admission and is credited to the first semester's tuition upon enrollment.
All charges are assessed by semester (tuition, room, board, and applicable fees) and are due and payable upon completion of enrollment and before admittance to class.
