Alumni Gatherings, Past and Future 

On April 10, Lawrence area alums got together for the city’s first official Saint Mary alumni gathering.

Attendees gathered at Saint John Catholic Church and enjoyed food and refreshments and a poetry reading from Sr. Susan Rieke, C’68. University President Sr. Diane Steele, C’83, keynoted the evening with a talk about the latest developments on campus.

A second group gathering has been tentatively scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12. Contact Sharon Clay at 913-758-6108 for more info—or if you’re interested in hosting a gathering of your own! 

Seattle-area Saint Mary Alums also met in late July to hear the latest news from campus and reconnect with their area classmates.
