Many Happy Returns
Dozens of Saint Mary alums gathered late this spring for the annual June tradition: Alumni Reunion Weekend.
Attendees enjoyed a host of activities—storytelling with Sr. Barbara Sellers,a cheerful ice cream social, and a jovial banquet dinner.
At the dinner, they also honored the life-long achievements of two friends and classmates, Shirley McGeary and Marilyn Krueger, both C’57 and celebrating the 55th anniversaries. Shirley won the Sister Mary Janet McGilley Service Award, recognizing her many efforts in advancing the university. And Marilyn won the Saint Vincent De Paul Award, which recognizes the way she personifies the Saint Mary mission through her contributions to society at large.
Now, your alma mater needs your help to continue to build on the much loved Reunion Weekend tradition.
Saint Mary is looking for class ambassadors who can help the good times continue and grow. As a class ambassador, you’ll work with the USM development office to help track down your classmates, ensure their contact info is up to date, and spread the word about Alumni Reunion.
Donating a couple of hours of your time each month can make a major difference for Saint Mary! And you’ll receive special recognition for your efforts during reunion and receive a discount on your attendance fees.
