DESCRIPTION:The concert, presented by the university's department of fine arts-music, is free and features performances by the University of Saint Mary Community Band, the USM Concert Corale, and instrumental and vocal soloists and ensembles. The performers will be decked out in full costume, and all attendees are invited to do the same.\n\nThe community band is made up of USM students, alumni, faculty, and staff, as well as musicians from the community. The band's program will include Ghost Band, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Dies Irae from Verdi's Requiem, Bug's Bunny's hit What's Up at the Symphony, The Pink Panther, and Thriller.\n\nThe USM string emsemble will play Psycho Prelude and Jillian Warman, violinist, will perform Danse Macabre. A flute trio will play an arrangement of Three Blind Mice.\n\nThe USM Concert Chorale will sing Double Trouble from the Harry Potter series as well as The Ballade of Sweeney Todd.\n\nA costume contest for any children in fifth grade and below in attendance that night will be held during the show, and prizes will be awarded.\n\nXavier Theatre
