The University
of Saint Mary Bookstore is an institutionally-owned
store that provides for the book and
class supply requirements for the students.
The bookstore also offers extra items
such as sweatshirts, memo pads, hats,
and stationary sporting the USM logo
and name. The bookstore staff is committed
and qualified to offer customers great
service, quality products and affordable
prices. For your convenience you may order
textbooks online.

The bookstore
is located on the ground floor of Saint
Mary Hall, across from the elevator
and stairs.

Regular hours of operation:
8:30-4:00 pm.
Extended hours during registration,
the first night of each class,
and as posted.
The University of Saint
Mary Bookstore accepts Visa, MasterCard,
Discover, and American Express. Personal
checks for $5 over the amount of purchase
may be cashed during a sale.

The
bookstore sells the textbooks for
main campus undergraduate classes.
The instructors choose books based
on course requirements, and the bookstore
manages the acquisition of the actual
texts. When possible, the Bookstore
will have all of the required books
purchased and print a booklist two
weeks prior to the start of class.
Every effort is made to find used
textbooks for the classes.
Students
should bring their official schedule
of classes to the bookstore when
purchasing books. This schedule
contains important text information
that is used to insure that the students
buy the correct required texts.
Shelf tags are used to locate the
appropriate texts within the bookstore.

Return Policy
- Defective books will be replaced
at no charge and should be returned
to the bookstore at once. Used books,
however, are not guaranteed to be free
of defects or to include disks or cassettes
or supplemental material.
- Whenever possible, your USM bookstore
will refund your money for textbooks
when the following conditions are met:
- New books have not been written
in or marked in in any way; the
shrink-wrapping is still in place.
- Books are returned before
the third week of class.
- All refunds require proof
of purchase (our sales receipt)
AND a drop or withdrawal slip.
(If you haven't registered, you
won't be able to get a drop slip,
and we won't be able to refund
your money.) Don't buy your books
until you have officially registered.

Products
Student supplies,
office supplies, magazines, and reference
books are also available for purchase
in the University of Saint Mary Bookstore. The
bookstore sells many USM insignia items
including caps, lithograph note
cards, shirts, pocket folders, decals,
pens and pencils, bookmarks, jewelry,
jackets, and pennants. The
bookstore also carries books by our
faculty and local authors.
General merchandise can be exchanged
but not refunded. Merchandise
can be shipped anywhere. For
more information on ordering from the
bookstore, check when on campus or
