As an art student at USM, you'll explore the range of your art talent through one-on-one
instruction and mentoring from the USM art faculty. You will also benefit from the guest artists brought in from around the nation to exhibit their art in Goppert

USM art students enjoy 24-hour access to Xavier Studios (drawing/design/painting/printmaking studios and a Mac computer lab) as well as the darkroom and ceramic studio. If you join the lap top program, the Adobe Design Suite will be installed your lap top.
Unique opportunities available at USM include a variety of exhibition opportunities, service-learning projects within classes, honors work and internship experiences. Whether it be studio art focus such as painting and ceramics, a graphic design focus, or an art therapy focus, all USM art majors learn valuable career skills. As a senior, you'll pull it all together presenting your best work in a Senior Show during the USM Student Art Exhibit at the end of the semester.
