English Careers |
| |
|
Because the program develops a student's writing ability and critical thinking
skills, it prepares majors for a variety of careers.
|
Graduates
are lawyers, public relations officers,
communication specialists, administrators,
teachers, journalists, and authors.
|
Graduates
are also prepared to enter graduate schools
in English, business, and law.
|
Specific
career programs are good accompaniments
to the major: the pre-law preparation
and the communications concentration.

|
Among other
institutions, English majors currently
attend or have received graduate degrees
(in English and other fields) from the
following institutions:
|
University
of Iowa
Kansas State University
University of Kansas
University of Saint Mary, Graduate Center
University of Wyoming
Central Missouri State University |
