USM is a religious institution, a Catholic college where tradition is important and faith-based activities for students are far from rare. USM has an active campus ministry and plenty of opportunities for you to further cultivate your spiritual life.

Misty Heinen 2001 Graduate Theology Campus Minister at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church and Catholic Student Center at Iowa State in Ames, Iowa Misty used her training in Theology to earn a coveted position with the Vincentian Volunteers in the United Kingdom. She lived in Liverpool for a year, working with youth in the community.
