Let's face it-human beings are designed to be active creatures. Plus, regular exercise is part of a healthy lifestyle. Coupled with a USM degree program, a physical education minor at the University of Saint Mary will allow you to teach physical education the proper ways to active children at the elementary or high school level.

Physical education minors are expected to take a minimum of 15 hours of physical education courses.

Physical education seeks to develop lifelong habits of fitness and skill.

Human beings are designed to be active creatures.

Physical activity generates more energy, enabling individuals to increase productivity for both physical and mental tasks.

Participation in physical activity provides an opportunity for socializing.
