The University of Saint Mary theology program can help you uncover some of the mysteries that have underwritten the universe since the beginning. As a theology major at USM, you’ll discover spirituality is much more than a feeling—it’s a passion. USM’s theology degree programs prepare graduates for value centered lives, dedicated to living spiritually both in the professional and personal life. USM’s theology program prepares graduates to become lay ministers equipped with the knowledge to impact those of the new millennium in the community at large. With a mentor, students learn to develop ministry skills and prepare to lead an annual retreat.
Mentors also assist students to analyze and nurture spirituality so that it can continue to grow and become an effective method for support. Graduates prepare for immediate careers, or choose to further their education through graduate study.
