Degree requirements for the Bachelors
degree
- 128 semester hours, including 64
semester hours from an accredited
baccalaureate institution
- At least 30 semester hours from
University of Saint Mary; 24 of the
last 30 must be from Saint Mary
- 42 credit hours of upper-level
course-work (courses numbered 300
or above)
- Completion of major requirements,
including at least 12 semester hours
of upper-level course-work
- Completion of general education
requirements for the bachelors
degree described below
- Completion of a writing portfolio
- A minimum grade point average of
2.00 overall and 2.00 in all upper-level
major course-work
- Settlement of all accounts with
the College
- Participation in program evaluation
activities as required
Second Bachelors
Degree
Students who already have a bachelors degree from another institution
or from University of Saint Mary may earn a second bachelors degree upon
completion of the following requirements:
- Completion of 30 semester hours
beyond the hours completed for the
first degree; these must be from
an accredited baccalaureate institution.
- At least 30 semester hours from
University of Saint Mary; 24 of the
last 30 must be from Saint Mary.
- Completion of major requirements,
including at least 12 semester hours
of upper-level course-work
- Completion of University of Saint
Marys Track B general
education requirements
- Completion of a writing portfolio
- A minimum cumulative grade point
average of 2.00 and 2.00 in all upper-level
major course-work
- Settlement of all accounts with
the College
- Participation in program evaluation
activities as required
