Lori Lorenzen
Head Softball Coach, Instructor
Coach Lorenzen begins her first year as the head coach for the University of Saint Mary softball team. Prior to arriving in Leavenworth, Lorenzen served as the head coach at Jackson Community College in Jackson, MI, where she started the first softball team for the college in over twenty-five years.
A native of Machesney Park, IL, Lorenzen played her collegiate years at Kentucky Wesleyan College. At KWC, Lorenzen played both tennis and softball for the Panthers. As a four year starter in softball, Lorenzen holds many career records and single season records. Lorenzen graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College in 1997 with a degree in business administration and went on to graduate from Austin Peay State University in with a degree in Health and Human Performance Education.

Assistant Softball Coach
Theresa Carroll graduated from LaMonte High School in LaMonte, MO in 1997. She was a 4 year All-Kaysinger Conference player for the Vikings. Theresa was named to the Central Missouri News All-Time Softball Team as a catcher. She was the catcher for the Sedalia Chics Premier travel softball team, appearing in the ASA Regional and National softball tournaments.
Theresa went on to Allen County Community College in Iola, KS. She was a 2 time All-Jayhawk Conference and Region catcher. Theresa was voted Captain her sophomore year. She graduated with an Associates of Arts degree. From there, Theresa transferred to Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, MO. Coach Carroll was a 2 year starter for the Bearcats, where she earned the title as Captain and was awarded the Team Player Award her senior year. Theresa graduated from NWMSU with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Physical Education with a minor in Health Education and Coaching.
Coach Carroll has been teaching and coaching at Leavenworth High School since 2003. This will be Coach Carroll's first season with the Lady Spires.
