Alumni and Friends Make USM Special

Throughout its history, the University of Saint Mary has been all about people—not just students and faculty, but everyone who shares the USM vision. 2009 Alumni Holiday Luncheon Set for Nov. 14

Reconnect with your fellow Saint Marians at the Saint Mary Alumni Council of Greater Kansas City Annual Holiday Luncheon. This year's event is at Starker's Reserve on the Plaza, 201 W. 47th St. The event begins at 11 a.m. with a social hour, followed by a noon lunch. Cost is $30 per person. Bring classmates!

USM Fine Arts Will Put You in the Christmas Spirit
USM has a wide variety of fine arts offerings to help you ring in the holidays this year.

First up, the USM department of fine arts-theatre presents "A Christmas Carol," based on Charles Dickens' timeless tale of Ebeneezer Scrooge. 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, and Saturday, Dec. 5, in Xavier Theatre. And come celebrate the season with USM's annual Christmas Choral Vespers concert. 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, in Annunciation Chapel. The event will feature the USM Concert Chorale, the Vespers Chamber Orchestra, and the Bells of Saint Mary Hand Bell Choir. SpireFest 2010
SpireFest, USM's annual gala fund-raiser for student scholarships, will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010, in McGilley Field House on USM's main campus.
