USM Kicks Off SMART Initiative
University of Saint Mary President Sister Diane Steele has announced the launch of the SMART Initiative, a four-year plan to upgrade facilities, provide additional student scholarships, and create more educational opportunities, especially in the area of health care. The Saint Mary Academics and Residence Life for Tomorrow Initiative seeks $10 million in philanthropic funds to help the university better meet the needs of today’s students. The cornerstone of the plan is a new $4.8 million apartment-style residence hall, scheduled to be completed for the fall 2009 semester.
2010 SpireFest Shows "Saint Mary Has Talent"
Please join the University of Saint Mary for SpireFest 2010. We all know that America has talent, but you'll be dazzled by the talent we've found so close to home.
The "Saint Mary Has Talent" competition includes dinner, entertainment, and an opportunity to vote for your favorite talent.
Tickets are $100 per person or $1,000 for a table of 10. All proceeds benefit student scholarships.
