The University of Saint Mary set spirits soaring with the 2011 edition of the traditional Christmas Choral Vespers concert on Dec. 11 in Annunciation Chapel. The concert tradition dates back more than three decades at USM. The event featured the University of Saint Mary Concert Chorale, the Bells of Saint Mary Handbell Choir, and the USM String Ensemble. The concert repertoire included a setting of Mary's Magnificat by Pergolesi and an assortment of international Christmas carols.
Alumni & Friends
Throughout its history, the University of Saint Mary has been all about people—not just students and faculty, but everyone who shares the USM vision. Those who have attended USM want to pass on what they have received to the next generation. And others who have been touched by the university in some way seek to support the value they see in providing faith-based education to deserving students.
Our shared values of community, respect, justice, and excellence bind us together. We have coalesced into a community of people around the mission of helping students of diverse backgrounds realize their God-given potential. As part of our community, we invite you to be an active participant in our campus activities. Whether it’s the Lincoln Lecture, the performing arts, or athletic events, there is something for everyone at USM. For the latest information, visit our Calendar of Events.
