14 - Reconnect with your fellow Saint Marians at the Saint Mary Alumni Council of Greater Kansas City Annual Holiday Luncheon. This year's event is at Starker's Reserve on the Plaza, 201 W. 47th St. The event begins at 11 a.m. with a social hour, followed by a noon lunch. Cost is $30 per person. Bring classmates! 4-5 - Get in the Christmas spirit with this classic Christmas presentation. The USM department of fine arts-theatre presents "A Christmas Carol," based on Charles Dickens' timeless tale of Ebeneezer Scrooge. 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, and Saturday, Dec. 5, in Xavier Theatre. 6 - Celebrate the season with USM's annual Christmas Choral Vespers concert. 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, in Annunciation Chapel. The event will feature the USM Concert Chorale, the Vespers Chamber Orchestra, and the Bells of Saint Mary Hand Bell Choir.
