General Description:
The University of Saint Mary Natural
Sciences and Mathematics Department
is a close, collegial faculty dedicated
to the teaching-learning relationship.
Candidates should be attracted to this
type of environment. The Natural Sciences
and Mathematics Department offers undergraduate
degrees in Biology, Chemistry and Math.
The position is in the Biology Program,
and involves teaching Microbiology
and Human Anatomy and Physiology. The
candidate will also teach additional
core Biology courses depending on their
expertise and departmental needs.
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Biological Sciences.
Contract:
Position start date is August 1, 2008.
The Search Committee will evaluate
applications on an on-going basis until
a suitable candidate is identified.
Rank and Salary:
The position is tenure-track. Salary
will be based on an annual nine-month
appointment commensurate with experience
and qualifications.
