General Description:
The University of Saint Mary Natural Sciences and Mathematics Department is a close, collegial faculty dedicated to the teaching-learning relationship. Candidates should be attracted to this type of environment. The Natural Sciences and Mathematics Department offers undergraduate degrees in Biology, Chemistry and Math. The position is in the Chemistry Program, but candidate will also be expected to teach biology. Ability to teach mathematics, as needed, is a plus.
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Chemistry or Biological Sciences.
Contract:
Position start date is August 1, 2010. The Search Committee will begin evaluating applications on November 30th and will continue until a suitable candidate is identified.
Rank and Salary:
The position is tenure-track. Salary will be based on an annual nine-month appointment commensurate with experience and qualifications.
