General Description:
The University of Saint Mary Natural
Sciences and Mathematics Department
is a close, collegial faculty dedicated
to the teaching-learning relationship.
Candidates should be attracted to
this type of environment. The Natural
Sciences and Mathematics Department
offers undergraduate degrees in Biology,
Chemistry and Math. The position
is in the Chemistry Program, and
involves teaching Allied Health Chemistry
with Lab, General Chemistry with
Lab, and Organic Chemistry with Lab.
The candidate will also teach additional
core Chemistry courses depending
on their expertise and departmental
needs.
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Chemistry.
Contract:
Position start date is August 1, 2008.
The Search Committee will evaluate
applications on an on-going basis
until a suitable candidate is identified.
Rank and Salary:
The position is tenure-track. Salary
will be based on an annual nine-month
appointment commensurate with experience
and qualifications.
