On-line Adjunct Nursing Faculty

General Description: The
University of St. Mary Department of
Nursing invites qualified candidates
to join an energetic and creative faculty
in the on-line RN-BSN program. The
bachelors degree program is accredited
by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing
Education.
We are currently seeking
adjunct faculty for on-line instruction
in all our
RN-BSN program for the 2008-2009 academic
year. Previous on-line teaching
experience is required. Applicants
must also demonstrate the ability to
work with a diverse student population
and the ability to work cooperatively
with departmental faculty and staff.
Qualifications: Licensure
as a Registered Professional Nurse
in the state of Kansas or ability
to obtain such licensure prior to finalization
of contract. A Master's
degree in Nursing is required.
Preferred Qualification: Extensive
teaching experience in on-line environment. Knowledge
of E-College and Angel course management
systems is preferred. Doctorate
in Nursing or a related discipline
is also preferred.
