English/Communication Faculty Position General
Description:
The University
of Saint Mary Language and Literature
Department invites applications for
a full-time tenure-track faculty position.
Successful candidates will be attracted
to teaching in a close, collegial environment
dedicated to the teaching-learning
relationship. This position will involve
teaching entry and upper-level English
and literature courses in addition
to strengthening the University’s
communication concentration. Therefore,
education or experience in the field
of communication is desirable.
Qualifications:
Strong preference
will be given to candidates with the
PhD who bring teaching experience with
them, receiving appointment at the
assistant professor level. The appointment
will begin August 1, 2008.
