Full time Tenure-Track Nursing Faculty Position for Fall 2012

General Description: The University of Saint Mary is a Roman Catholic, liberal arts university with a strong emphasis on the health sciences. The Department of Nursing invites qualified candidates to join an energetic and creative faculty in the on-campus pre-licensure program. The program is approved by the Kansas Board of Nursing and is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.*
Qualifications: Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state of Kansas and Missouri or the ability to obtain such licensure prior to finalization of contract. MSN in nursing is required. A potential to teach a broad range of undergraduate courses is expected.
Preferred Qualification: 2-3 years progressive teaching experience in a university environment. Med-Surg background preferred; will consider other areas.
Full-time Contract: A ten month faculty appointment on a tenure track is available to qualified applicants. Position will begin Aug. 1, 2012.
Salary and Rank: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
