Maria Hall, originally constructed in
in 1964, has recently undergone a $1 million renovation.
The dorm, which houses students on its second, third, fourth, and fifth floors, features cable and high-speed internet access and suite-style rooms.
Another advantage of Maria Hall: USM's underground tunnel system. The dorm is connected to the rest of campus through the tunnels, meaning students can—and often do—make it to class in shorts and flip flops even during the coldest of winter days.
Rooms are either single-
or double-occupancy with a bathroom between
every
two rooms. All
rooms have desks, chairs, dressers, and
large closets. Bunkable standard
twin beds are also available.
