Emily Nold - Class of 2013
Theatre

Statement:
Hey guys, I’m Emily Nold. I’m currently very involved in the music and theatre program here at the University of Saint Mary. I love singing, entertaining my friends and family, playing guitar, and taking pictures. I don’t really have a specific motto in life, though I wish I did. But I plan to end each of my blog entries with a random quote that will hopefully inspire you or get you thinking.

Bio Info
Hometown:
Overland Park, Kan

High School:
Shawnee Mission West

Possible Major:
Theatre

Favorite Class:
All my theatre classes are great. I really like the hands-on ones, like Costuming and Technical Theatre.

Favorite Instructor:
I don’t have a favorite. There are too many influential and great teachers at Saint Mary that I’ve encountered, and not many people get to say that about their college.

Clubs/Activities:
Theatre, Music

Favorite Music:
Alternative, Techno, Dubstep.

Favorite TV Show of All Time:
Hands down, “That 70’s Show.”

Best Movie You’ve Ever Seen:
Not fair, there’s too many. I love comedies.

Favorite Get-Away Spot:
Southern California, I’ve got some family there and get to visit about once a year.

If You Could Say One Thing to Future USM Students, What would it be?
I would definitely tell future USM students that it’s certainly okay to have fun once you get to college, but don’t make partying your primary job once you’re here. Make sure you attend your classes and budget your time for your homework. You’ll have it made in the shade if you work before play.
