Career Search

It's not always easy to land that dream job.

In partnership with the Career Development Center,MONSTERTRAK provides full-time, part-time, temporary and internship opportunities targeted by employers to University of Saint Mary students and alumni.

The Career Development Center offers a host of other services to help you find your dream job as well. The services include:

Discover 
Discover is a computerized career guidance program that allows individuals to evaluate and integrate their work related interests, abilities and values. A personalized list of occupations for possible research is created. Additionally, Discover allows the user to search for majors, graduate schools, scholarships, and sources of financial aid. 

Career Guidance 
The Career Development Center offers several career assessment inventories including the Self-Directed Search, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and the Strong Interest Inventory. 

Career Resource Library 
Occupational library resources include career and employer literature, employer files, videos, and graduate and professional school information. 

College Major Career Information Days 
Each semester an academic area is featured. University of Saint Mary alumni or members of the community speak on campus to students about their careers.

Employer Fairs and Interview Days

The Greater Kansas City Employer Fair and the COSMC Interview day is a cooperative effort by University of Saint Mary and other colleges to attract employers to students. The employer fair is in October, and attracts approximately 125 different employers and graduate school representatives. Students may discuss openings with employers or seek career and graduate school information. Resumes are expected if you are job seeking.

The COSMC Interview Day is held each February. This interview day is an opportunity for students to register for individual interviews with area employers through the career center.

Teacher Interview Day

Area school district recruiters are invited to come to campus and interview seniors and alumni interested in the teaching profession. Teacher Interview Day is held every April.

Recruiter Visits

Recruiters from school districts and other employers visit campus to discuss career openings.

Job Announcements

The career center receives both full and part-time position announcements. Check the job board for the part-time announcements. Full-time announcements are posted in the Career Development Center .
