Saint Mary is Committed to Affordable Education

Think a four-year private Catholic education is financially out of your reach? Think again!

Private ≠ Expensive

The University of Saint Mary was founded, in part, on the idea that a quality education should be available to all.

Consider:

  • 95 percent of our students receive financial aid of some kind.

  • You may qualify for scholarships of up to $56,000 that may make your USM tuition more afforable than the big state schools.

  • We'll work closely with you to ensure that your Saint Mary education is an affordable one.

University Expenses

The University of Saint Mary is a private institution. The tuition a student pays covers around sixty-eight percent of the cost of a University of Saint Mary education.

Private gifts meet the difference between the actual cost and the tuition charges.

Parents who are able to contribute to the university's educational mission are encouraged to do so by participating in the annual giving program.
