In addition to personal and academic counseling, we provide career counseling support assisting students at all stages of the career planning process, supporting them on their journey to recognizing their God-given potential, and preparing them for value-centered careers. Highlights:
Dr. Thomas is a Campus Counselor and University of Saint Mary Alumni, graduating with
a Bachelor's in Psychology in May 2004 and a Master's in Counseling Psychology in
May 2007. She also played on the USM soccer team, Go Spires! She holds an Ed.D. In
Crisis Counseling and Traumatology on-line at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA
and has obtained an LPC in the State of Kansas. She has experience in:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Crisis Counseling,
Trauma-Informed Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Processing, and individual/group
therapy.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, volunteering in Lansing Correctional
Facility as a mentor, and spending time with her husband and children.
