(Leavenworth, Kan.)—Keep your pint-sized werewolves and witches safe this Halloween
                           at the University of Saint Mary "Trick-or-Treat Off the Streets." The 2017 edition
                           of USM's annual alternative trick-or-treat experience will be from 6-7 p.m. Sunday,
                           Oct. 29, in USM's Maria Residence Hall on the north side of the Leavenworth campus
                           at 4100 South 4th Street.
The "Trick-or-Treat Off the Streets" program is free and open to the public and is
                           a Halloween favorite in the Leavenworth-Lansing area. In previous years, as many as
                           200 local children and families trick-or-treated in costume at USM.
Attendees should arrive at USM's Maria Hall to check-in. USM students will be in costume
                           and will pass out treats to young trick-or-treaters. Parents or legal guardians must
                           accompany children at the event, and all participants must provide their own bags
                           for carrying candy and goodies.
Interested in donating candy to the event? USM will accept donations up until 4 p.m.
                           on Friday, Oct. 27. Company or individual donations are welcome. Call 913-758-6120

"Trick-or-Treat Off the Streets" is sponsored by the University of Saint Mary office
                           of student life. Parking is limited, so please come early.
