Dec. 5-7  | Xavier Theatre

(Leavenworth, Kan.)—The University of Saint Mary theatre program will present "The Nutcracker" Dec. 5-7 at 7 p.m. and a special matinee performance at 2 p.m. Dec. 7 in the Xavier Theatre on USM's main campus.

Let your holiday spirit shine in this Christmas classic and follow the magical journey through the talents of Saint Mary and visiting students. It's a delightful production children and families won't soon forget.

"Everyone is working exceptionally hard," said Danielle Swatzell, instructor of theatre and theatre program coordinator. "They are having a lot of fun working on the ballet, stage combat, and physical comedy that goes into the show."

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children or high school students. They can be purchased in advance at stmary.edu/TheatreSchedule or calling 913-758-6152. The production is free for all USM students with student ID.
